- buffered acids lower the pH value
- works by buffering in the crop and stomach
- kills bacteria, fungi, trichomonads
pH control is the key to healthy animals.
Description
pH-Control is a drinking water acid that consists of a combination of free and buffered organic acids. With a targeted effect on gram-negative bacteria (e.g. salmonella and E. coli) in the drinking water and at the intestinal level, pH-Control supports good digestion. Due to the additional acidification and the high intestinal effectiveness of the acids, pH-Control has an overall positive effect on the intestinal health and performance of the animals.
Intestinal health = animal health
Intestinal health is the key to healthy animals and high performance. The stomach and intestines are also responsible for digesting food, house billions of bacteria and are responsible for the formation of immune-stimulating substances. That is why you should always keep an eye on intestinal health. Organic acids can promote balance in the intestines and greatly reduce the colonization of harmful bacteria such as E. coli, salmonella and also trichomonads. In young pigeons in particular, the system is still very sensitive to germs, as the intestinal flora is still developing and offers too little natural protection. In addition to inhibiting pathogenic germs, pH-Control also protects the desired lactic acid bacteria (Lactobacillus) and thus creates the conditions for a healthy intestinal flora.
- Bacteria (E. coli, salmonella), fungi and trichomonads are combated directly.
- The drinking troughs are cleaned and the biofilm is broken down.
- The acids support stomach acidification, especially in young animals.
- Ammonium salts and sorbic acid have a strong effect against pathogens in the digestive tract of animals.
- The “good” microflora in the intestine is protected and intestinal health is supported.
- By activating the digestive enzymes, the conditions are created for optimal nutrient absorption and feed digestion.
Benefits of buffered acids
pH-Control contains buffered organic acids, which are an essential part of the way pH-Control works. They not only work in the crop, but also in the stomach of the animals through the buffered acids. The technical advantages of buffered acids are also very important, because they make it easier to handle acid and do not allow the pH value in the water to fall below 3.5, even at higher doses. A pH value of around 4 in the water is optimal, as this inhibits the growth of salmonella, E. coli and trichomonads. In addition, the buffered acids are an important part of this acid mixture and serve to control undesirable enterobacteria in the intestine. pH-Control uses ammonium formates as a buffering component, which strengthen the antibacterial effect of pH-Control due to their ability to release hydrogen ions (H+). The high antibacterial effect of ammonium salts has been confirmed by tests.
Application recommendation
For a permanent reduction in microbial load, a dosage of 5ml pH-Control per 1 liter of water is recommended. The water should then have a pH value of 4. If vaccinations or medication are administered, pH-Control should be suspended for one day. The simultaneous use of pH-Control and medication should be avoided at all costs. However, it is advisable to administer Med. Tollyamin Forte and Dosto Oregano Liquid 12% at the same time. Our oregano quality in particular strengthens the antibacterial effect of pH-Control. In addition, the drinking behavior of the animals is significantly improved by administering Med. Tollyamin Forte.
dosage
5ml per liter of drinking water. Daily use of ph-Control is recommended.
